My only disappointment with the record was it not being a gatefold album, the two records are pushed tight in one lp cover. The record played wonderfully, including the instrumental record, great also by the way. My vinyl had no cracks or poping issues, unlike ive had for previous Captured Tracks pressings. In the end this revisit has mostly just brought me more appreciation for the first album I ever bought for myself and which always holds a special place in my collection and heart.Įdit: It seems that with a few more plays the crackles have almost dissapeared.Ī good vacuum clean should get it silent so no pressing issues really. Its just too bad there is no lyrics sheet for such a short album. It really shines through with Macs clear voice and the striking strings.
